Lucknow: In a grand celebration of courage, commitment, and service, Radio City 91.1 FM hosted the ‘Special 26 Awards’ at the Piccadilly Hotel in Lucknow, honouring 26 exceptional women police officers from across Uttar Pradesh. These officers were recognized for their outstanding contributions and bravery in the line of duty.
The prestigious event was graced by Uttar Pradesh’s Director General of Police (DGP), Prashant Kumar, and Lucknow Police Commissioner Amrendra Kumar Sengar as chief guests. Commending the initiative, both senior officers emphasized that such recognitions not only boost the morale of women officers but also highlight their vital role in maintaining law and order.
The awardees expressed their pride and gratitude, stating that the recognition reaffirmed their dedication and strengthened their resolve to serve society with continued excellence. The event brought their contributions into the spotlight and infused them with renewed energy and motivation.

Titled ‘Special 26 Awards – Celebrating the Power of Women – With a Difference’, the event was hosted by RJ Karishma and RJ Vikram from Radio City. The evening was also attended by notable personalities including Prateek Mehra (Programming Head, Radio City), Iti Kapoor (Vice President – Sales), and key members from the marketing and programming teams – Prakriti, Nitesh, Shweta, Pushkar – along with sales team members Achal Krishna, Rahul Sethi, Tanya, Vidya, Fatima, and Sindhuja.
